Following the South American Seminar on Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR), held in São Paulo, we were joined by a panel of global health and harm reduction experts.
One of the experts, Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos, a cardiologist and leading harm reduction researcher, discussed the fundamental principles of e-cigarettes as smoking cessation aids. Dr. Farsalinos explained the findings of systemic reviews on e-cigarettes.
Flavours and nicotine strength variants are fundamental and directly contribute to smoking cessation success.
